First registered January 1986 (C Reg) this really lovely Ford Capri 2 8 Injection has come to us from a private collector of interesting Ford cars. It has the benefit of being fitted with a Turbo Technics Turbo and is incredible to drive! Why were they all not fitted with Turbos?

This 1979 Ford Mk3 Capri has had 3 owners, and has been stripped back to a shell In the photo's it has had the restoration started but is uncompleted there is no front window due to this, but a sun roof has been added. The car come with what is in the photos nothing else. During the restoration the owner has changed the colour to black but the documentation statues as red, it has it's V5C documents. Rear internal plastic windscreen wiper housing is in tack.

Ford consul Capri, I have owned this car for 12 years ( logbook in my name), has been parked up for a substantial length of time, it was starting , running & driving fine at the point of parking up ( drove into position). The car has 1500 GT pre cross flow GT engine, twin choke carburettor, 4 branch manifold & has what appears to be a GT close shift gearbox fitted. Here's my 280 owned for aprox 9 yrs excellent usable classic , needs A few things doing to make it perfect , rear axle could do with a service lsd works perfectly , slight wine but works as it should , hasn't bothered me in all the years of ownership, just being honest . Seat bolster needs repairing as per pic , engine gearbox ,body work ,excellent. .extensive paperwork for car .
