I have been in the classic Jaguar business since the seventies, as a high school student, but this is, without doubt, the straightest, cleanest, most rust-free Mark 2 Jaguar project we have ever encountered. This is an original California car, never wrecked or bent, never driven in snow or salt, and stored indoors since coming to Massachusetts in 1968. A 1962 Mk2 3 8 with overdrive. Specification as it came out of the factory plus seat belts
Dry stored from 1979 till 2015. Engine stripped down and rebuilt with new rings, bearings and gaskets. Cylinder head overhauled as well as new clutch fitted
The car had chassis work done and a re spray (Dove Grey) in 2018
