I used the car as my main summer car for a while, then on sunny days and (used to) for holidays (two photos are from a surf trip to Portugal in 2020). Engine and running gear are great though replacing the cam-chain would be advised soon as the car has probably done about 25k on the one there now. 1972 BMW 2002 fresh in from California, this is a very rot free 2002, it is seriously rust free underneath!
The car appears to have head gasket failure, although it does still run and drive. We have removed fan belt so it didn't squeel in the video of the engine running, please see video
Car is matching numbers, is complete and ripe for minor restoration
There is some rot to front edge of bonnet, bit on the boot lid and LH side by rear window, other than than its great!
