Originally a 2 1-litre IOE straight-six, but since fitted with a Land Rover 2 25-litre diesel engine. This was expertly installed many decades ago by an excellent engineer. I think all the minor modifications it entailed would be easy to reverse ?? or a Land Rover 2 5-litre petrol engine or TDI would slot straight in, both of which strike me as appealing options
